Got cold feet around xmas?
So I love all the funny and stupid gadgets that come out. I still thought there was some kind of end to how crappy things would be produced...now I know I was wrong. I guess Japanese people search for the xmas spirit in their own ways.
Does anyone else think its a good idea to attach your feet to your computer?

Water bridge?!?
Is it just me or is this fucking crazy...
I guess its one way to spend 6 years and 500 million euro..
"this is a channel-bridge over the river elbe and joins the former east and west germany, as part of the unification project. it is located in the city of magdeburg, near berlin. the photo was taken on the day of inauguration."-picdit

For all you Mac fans...
There is an article over at wired where they compare the iPod Classic to Zune 2.
lo and behold they think the Zune 2 is the better buy this holiday season. (all mac fans get angry now*) Go over and see for yourself why they reach this conclusion...and vote for your iPod.
So yes I do agree with them, either way we can all agree its good with some competition...or does that make Mac fans angry too maybe..?
(By the way, most of my friends use macs and iPods... I don't)

A good battery...
Finally batteries are getting closer to what they should be.
Toshiba is launching the SCiB battery in March next year. How does it sound with about 5 minutes for a full charge.
Something for my next phone!

America is the best at something after all...
So I read this interesting article over at DN.se and Im gonna put the gist of it in English for the Americans...I doubt they have heard this.
Anyway, what the article talks about is the amount of prisoners that America has. This is numbers from 2006.
America has more people in prison than ANY other country in the world.
Comparison, number of prisoners per 100, 000 people.
USA 751
Canada 107
Iran 212
France 85
UK 148
China 119 (and they use it as a political tool...)
In the last 30 years the amount of prisoners has increased with 500% and its still going up.
Black people are jailed 6.2 times more often than white. Almost 8% of black males 30-34 are in jails.
So the obvious question is...why is it so different from other countries and has it helped at all?
my answer, without knowing much more about this, is NO!
Maybe time to rethink America?
just yesterday 8 people were shot killed shopping at a mall by a random guy, lets not even start with the firearms discussion...but seriously, its amazing this is not a more talked about issue in America.
Numbers and stats from HRW (Human Rights Watch).

Most Expensive Photos ever sold!
This is kinda intersting I think...check out the most expensive pics ever sold. I like this
Gustave Le Gray’s “The Great Wave, Sete”
It was sold for "only" $838,000 in 1999...but there is an interesting story.
"Le Gray’s image marked the first time that a photographer had managed to expose landscape and sky correctly in the same image. He did this by creating one negative for the sky and one for the sea, and printing them together on the same sheet of paper. In effect, he created a collage." (Photopreneur)
See the top 4 and read more.

Top 10 fastest-rising search terms on Google 2001 vs 2007
So we forgot about terrorism and started thinking about a lame phone, bad usermade videos, facebook world and big boobs. Nice to see the world is going in the right direction!

Are you good at illustrator?
If you know what you are doing with illustrator take a look at this.
You can make $40 for making illustrations for Wikipedia.
Do you know anyone else that has this in their portfolio?....didn't think so.

A good gift
I finally found what I want for Christmas...
How could you ever go wrong with a Hello Kitty automatic toilet paper dispenser?!
For all you people that are now worried that you wont get your favorite length...no worries! You cant set the length to exactly what you want. Then all you do is press the button and you'll have the perfect length every time!
Now when you know you want one... forget it because its $220 that i know you dont have.

Browsers!
I recently realized that I dont like Firefox as much as I thought I did. Its a great browser dont get me wrong, the problem is that it eats memory like that was the purpose, not surfing the web. So I decided to try out some other browsers and I have landed at Opera. I dont really like the Norwegians but this is pretty good...good enough til the final 3.0 of FF comes out.
See if you find any you like here.

Failure....
So I started this blog a looooong time ago and I never updated it...so no one ever read it.
Time for that to change. Im not gonna vomit all over this blog and tell you how much I hate the world or what a great guy or whatever...
Instead I plan on posting stories and things i find around the internet...and If you are luck it will come with a comment or two. If you are unlucky ill actually start saying what I think...we'll see what happens.
I'll whenever I find something worth being here...oh and my topics will mostly be technology, art, design and random news.
cheers
